Mimi Clarke Corcoran
A former executive in Chase Manhattan Bank’s International Trading/Treasury Operations and Systems, Mimi Corcoran also served as the director of Special Projects at Open Society Institute and The Soros Foundations Network. She was also instrumental in the development of The After-School Corporation. A board member of various educational and youth-related institutions, Corcoran also contributed to the launching of the New York City Charter Center for Excellence. Prior to her current consulting role, Corcoran was the executive director of the Beginning with Children Foundation, Inc. (BwCF) focusing on education advocacy and reform. She earned degrees in English and in public policy and finance from Yale and New York universities.
