Richard Ferguson
In a career spanning nearly 50 years in education, Dr. Richard Ferguson is Vice Chairman of Best Associates. His years of experience include positions as a secondary school mathematics teacher, college faculty member, educational researcher, and numerous positions at American College Testing (ACT), one of the world’s leading educational assessment organizations. His most recent position was CEO and Chairman of the Board at ACT, where he continuously expanded an array of assessment programs and services designed to help people in the U.S. and abroad prepare for success in education and work. Dr. Ferguson received mathematics degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Western Michigan University, and a Ph.D. in educational research from the University of Pittsburgh.
