The James B. Hunt, Jr. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy sponsored the Tri-State Summit: Meeting the Needs of Disadvantaged Youth in the Afterschool Hours in partnership with the Georgia Afterschool Investment Council, the North Carolina Center for Afterschool Programs, and the South Carolina Afterschool Alliance. The Summit brought together leaders and policymakers from the three states to examine the importance of cross-sector collaboration in meeting the needs of disadvantaged youth. This event was by invitation only.
