Making the Grade: Preparing Today's Students for Tomorrow's Economy
Today’s students entering primary, secondary, and higher education are more diverse and tech savvy than ever before. They deserve an education system that fits their skills and needs and prepares them for a rapidly changing economy and job market. Just as significantly, the public is demanding that policymakers get the most for their education tax dollars. Experts from across the country discussed the most effective education strategies and cutting edge technologies to achieve these objectives. The Summit, which was designed for state legislative leaders, was a combined effort of the State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF) and the James B. Hunt, Jr. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy.
