More than 40 legislators gathered in Pinehurst for the 4th Annual North Carolina Legislators Retreat,
sponsored by the James B. Hunt, Jr. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy, and co-hosted by former Governors Jim Hunt and Jim Holshouser. The Retreat, Honing Our Competitive Edge, brought to light the importance of creativity and innovation in propelling the state forward amid the economic shifts in the global marketplace.
