Hunt Institute Launches New Web Site
December 31, 2008
The James B. Hunt, Jr. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy is pleased to announce the launch of its revamped, dynamic, interactive Web site. With a cleaner, less cluttered look, clear-cut navigation, and a flexible architecture to allow for rapid content changes, the new site makes www.hunt-institute.org a one-stop shop for the latest on education policy and research. It also provides users access to national and international education experts.
Among the new features on the site are upcoming state profiles, which will allow users to compare and contrast various data points for all states and a specific section dedicated to North Carolina's lawmakers, educational successes, and challenges.
For the first time, users will have the opportunity to view keynote addresses and presentations from Hunt Institute convenings and hear what governors and other policymakers are saying about education in their states. Also available for download are Hunt Institute publications such as Blueprint, which examines national education issues in depth, and coNCepts, which focuses on education in North Carolina.
Media professionals will find frequently updated news releases, statements, and have the ability to take advantage of the site's RSS (Really Simple Syndication) notifications -- informing them when new postings are made to the site.
The Hunt Institute continues to work at the intersection of policy and politics to secure America’s future through quality education, and the Web site has been created with that mission in mind. Please take a moment to explore the site and pass our news along to your colleagues. If you have any comments or suggestions, e-mail awhite@hunt-institute.org.
